چکیده

The primary measure of success of a software system is the level to which it meets the purpose for which it was projected and requirements engineering (RE) is the process of discovering that purpose. The RE process includes five distinct phases: Requirements Elicitation, Requirements Analysis & Negotiation, Requirements Documentation, Requirements Verification & Validation, and Requirements Management. There are a number of inherent difficulties and their proposed solutions for RE phases. Framework is one of the possible ways for finding solution of those problems. It is a hot area of RE. Frameworks commonly used to combine the techniques on a specific problem, topic or area. In this paper we are going to review the literature of RE frameworks. The survey is organized according to a conceptual framework which will analyze the 1) problem statement; 2) Domain; 3) proposed solution; 4) RE phases discussed; 5) RE phases not discussed and 6) reusability. This paper also presents the issues which are still open to further research.

Recent Advances in Crystal Engineering from Nanoscience Views: A Brief Review

Crystal engineering has recently emerged as a method of choice for the design and construction of organic as well as metal-organic functional materials. Crystal engineering attempts to establish packing trends in whole families of compounds and seeks to establish connections between structure and function. The utility of crystal engineering has also been expanded to the nanoscience and the deve...

Reliable and accountable system design

Few would disagree with the assertion that safe engineering starts from the early stages of system design and should be maintained throughout the lifecycle. Di€erent engineering domains have developed, mostly informal, frameworks with which they hope to promote this attitude. An interesting question for the KBS community is whether some of our methods for knowledge representation and reasoning ...

Comparing GORE Frameworks: i-star and KAOS

Goal-Oriented Requirements Engineering (GORE) is an approach to requirements engineering dealing with intentionality in accordance with the relations among different actors. KAOS and i* (i-star) frameworks have been receiving many references as being important GORE proposals. This paper presents an conceptual analysis comparing characteristics of those methods giving examples related to actors’...

Scale-up Strategies for Membrane-Based Desalination Processes: A Review

Membrane-based technologies have increasingly been chosen in desalination processes, which is evidenced by the increase of large-scale plants constructed in recent years. Indeed, several appropriate strategies should be considered to minimize problems faced during the construction, such as membrane system designs, area requirement, energy requirement, operation and maintenance, and environmenta...

Extracting Micro Ontologies from Interrogative Domains For Epistemic Agents

A relevant and functional ontology continues to be one of the bottlenecks to the process of building epistemic agent-oriented systems. While the construction of electronic ontologies is the focus of many ongoing efforts, ontology building in a timely manner remains an obstacle. Our current focus is directed toward the notion of automated identification of ontological artifacts from interrogativ...
